Get more from your off-camera flash with the Apollo Strip Speedlight Kit. The Apollo Strip is designed with a narrow profile and recessed edge for focusing your light source on a defined area. This rectangular modifier makes an ideal rim, accent, or hair light for portraiture or product photography. The strip features two built-in zippered entry points that allow for mounting in a vertical or horizontal position. The kit includes a 12 x 36 inches Apollo Strip softbox with a case, full-stop diffusion panel, adjustable shoe mount bracket, and 8' aluminum light stand.
Simple to Setup and Use Anywhere
The convenience of an umbrella meets the control of a softbox. Built on a durable fiberglass frame, this lightweight softbox opens and closes like an umbrella for quick setup and teardown. Apollo softboxes mount to a variety of lights using a standard umbrella receptacle. No speedrings or adapters required! These lightweight modifiers are perfect for both on-location and studio photography.
Direct or Indirect Lighting
Like the original Apollo, the 12 x 36 inches Apollo Strip allows you to achieve direct or indirect lighting with the same modifier. By directing your light toward the diffusion front, you’ll create drastic highlights with a subtle hot spot. Positioning your light towards the back of Apollo creates an even spread of light with softer shadows. The inside of the Apollo softbox is made with highly-reflective silver fabric that maximizes light output for any situation.
For Portable Flashes and Studio Strobes
Do you shoot with both a speedlight and strobe? Thanks to the Apollo’s versatile umbrella shaft, these modifiers can be instantly paired with both types of off-camera flashes. With these softboxes, you won’t be confined to using a single lighting style or forced into buying various modifiers. The included adjustable bracket is compatible with both portable round head flashes and square head speedlights.
Dual Mounting Options
The Apollo Strip features two built-in zippered entry points. These allow for precise mounting of your Apollo Strip in a vertical or horizontal position. After mounting, the openings can be zipped tight around your stand to eliminate any potential light loss.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
