Its cellular design narrows light spread to 40 degrees, helping photographers and filmmakers illuminate a subject while minimizing unwanted spill and lens flare. The grid maintains the soft quality of light produced by the Apollo Orb while providing greater directionality for controlled lighting setups.
Shape Light with Greater Precision
The grid restricts light traveling away from the central beam in four directions, helping keep illumination within a defined area. This makes it particularly useful for portrait photography, interviews, and studio lighting setups where controlling light on the background is important.
Create Separation and Depth
When using the Apollo Orb for hair lighting, rim lighting, or background separation, the grid helps direct light toward the subject instead of surrounding surfaces. This allows photographers to define edges and create visual depth without unnecessarily illuminating the backdrop.
Quick Attachment and Compact Storage
The grid attaches to the recessed front of the 43-inch Apollo Orb using built-in hook and loop fasteners. Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
