Features
Instantly transform your normal Powerseeker 70AZ or 70EQ telescope into a white-light solar telescope with the EclipSmart Solar Filter which is designed from the telescope’s lens cap for a snug, safe fit via 3 safety screws. The included safety cap protects the outer surface of the filter when not in use. The Solar film is produced in the USA by American Paper Optics, one of the suppliers recommended by NASA for safe solar viewing.

EclipSmart solar products feature Solar Safe filter technology providing the ultimate protection from harmful solar radiation, including both IR and UV light, and filters 99.999% of intense visible light. Celestron Solar Safe filter technology is Guaranteed Safe for direct solar observation and has been independently tested by SAI Global Assurance Services.
Solar Safe products conform to and meet the transmission requirements of ISO 12312-2, Filters for Direct Observation of the Sun, EN 1836:2005 + A1:2007 (E) for an E15 Filter for the Direct Observation of the Sun and, AS/NZS 1338.1:2012, Filters for Eye Protectors.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery. If there is carrier damage, please contact support@focuscamera.com with your order number and a description of the damage.
