The Irix Cine 150mm T3.0 Macro Lens brings true 1:1 macro imaging to PL mount cinema workflows. Its 150 mm focal length, T3.0 transmission, and 43.3 mm full-frame coverage let filmmakers move from controlled close detail to compressed telephoto framing while keeping a cinema-focused mechanical layout.
True 1:1 Macro Detail
At its minimum focusing distance of 0.35 m, the lens can reproduce a subject at life size on the sensor. The optical design uses 12 elements in 9 groups, including 4 HR and 3 ED elements, to control aberrations and distortion. Eleven rounded aperture blades help smooth out out-of-focus areas, while internal focusing keeps the front element from extending or rotating during focus changes.
Built for Cinema Accessories
Standard 0.8 M focus and aperture gears support common cine control systems. The 95 mm front diameter works with matte boxes, while the 86 mm filter thread accepts screw-in filters. Irix also equips the front with its Magnetic Mount System for compatible Irix Edge MMS filters and lens hoods. The Imperial distance scale is laser-engraved and filled with UV-reactive paint for easier reading in low light.
PL Mount Production Design
The PL mount version uses 4 rubber O-rings for weather sealing and an aluminum and magnesium alloy housing. A 180-degree focus ring and 75-degree aperture ring provide long, deliberate control ranges. With standardized gear placement across the Irix Cine family, the lens is built to move efficiently between configured cinema rigs while preserving familiar accessory alignment.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
