Optics for Detailed Cinema Work
The optical design uses 12 elements in 9 groups, including 4 HR and 3 ED elements, to support high-resolution capture with low distortion and controlled aberrations. Internal focusing keeps the front element stationary while focus changes, helping maintain balance on a rig and supporting sharp close-distance work. An 11-blade aperture helps produce smooth out-of-focus rendering.
Built for Cine Workflows
Standard 0.8 M geared focus and aperture rings integrate with common follow focus systems. The 95 mm front diameter works with cinema matte boxes, while the 86 mm filter thread supports screw-in filters. Irix MMS adds compatibility with Irix Edge MMS magnetic filters and compatible hoods for faster accessory changes.
Ready for Demanding Locations
Five rubber O-rings provide weather sealing around critical areas to help protect the lens during work around dust, moisture, and changing conditions. Laser-engraved markings use UV-reactive paint for improved visibility in low light. The imperial focus scale is marked in feet, matching crews that work with imperial distance references.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
