The Irix Cine 15mm T2.6 Wide Angle Lens gives Canon EF filmmakers a broad 100-degree horizontal full-frame view in a compact White Edition cine body. Its 15 mm focal length is suited to establishing shots, architecture, interiors, landscapes, documentary work, gimbal shots, and other scenes where expansive framing matters. The lens covers a 43.3 mm image circle and uses an imperial focus scale marked in feet.
Wide Coverage with Controlled Optics
The optical design uses 15 elements in 11 groups, including 3 HR, 2 ED, and 2 ASP elements. Irix specifies low focus breathing and minimal distortion, helping preserve framing through focus changes while keeping straight lines controlled across the wide field of view. A 9-blade rounded aperture adjusts from T2.6 to T22 for exposure control and smooth out-of-focus rendering.
Cine Ready Manual Control
A 180-degree focus ring gives room for deliberate focus pulls, while standard 0.8 M gearing on the focus and aperture rings supports common follow focus workflows. The 95 mm front diameter works with compatible matte boxes, and the 86 mm front filter thread supports screw-in filters. Irix MMS compatibility also supports magnetic Irix Cine accessories.
White Edition Build for Production Use
The aluminum and magnesium alloy housing combines a distinctive white finish with four rubber O-rings for weather sealing at key points. Laser-engraved markings use UV-reactive paint for improved visibility in low light. For Canon EF, the lens measures 89 x 95 mm without accessories and weighs 895 grams, keeping the wide-angle prime manageable on studio, tripod, and stabilized camera builds.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
