The Irix Cine 15mm T2.6 Limited Edition lens brings an ultra-wide 15mm perspective to PL Mount cinema setups while keeping manual control clear and consistent. Its 43.3 mm full-frame coverage, T2.6 to T22 aperture range, and low-distortion optical design support broad establishing shots, interiors, landscapes, architecture, and dynamic camera movement.
Wide Coverage with Controlled Optics
The optical system uses 15 elements in 11 groups, including 3 HR elements, 2 ED elements, and 2 ASP elements. A 100-degree horizontal viewing angle on full-frame cameras creates expansive framing, while 9 rounded iris blades support smooth aperture adjustment. Minimal focus breathing helps maintain composition during focus changes, and the 9.84-inch minimum focusing distance adds flexibility for close foreground emphasis.
Cinema Focus and Accessory Integration
The focus ring rotates 180 degrees and uses 117 teeth with 0.8 M gearing. The aperture ring rotates 75 degrees with 110 teeth and the same 0.8 M gear pitch. Imperial distance markings suit this version. An 86 mm front filter thread and Irix Magnetic Mount System support flexible filter use, while the standardized 95 mm front diameter works with common cinema accessories.
Built for Active Production
The white Limited Edition body uses aluminum and magnesium alloy construction with weather sealing at 3 rubber O-rings for the PL Mount version. The lens is compatible with gimbals, follow focus systems, and the Irix Matte Box IQ. UV-reactive engraved markings improve visibility in difficult lighting, helping crews keep controls readable during demanding shoots.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
