The Irix Cine 15mm T2.6 Canon EF lens gives filmmakers an ultra-wide 15 mm perspective with full-frame 43.3 mm image coverage. Its T2.6 transmission supports work across varied lighting conditions, while the rectilinear optical design keeps distortion low for expansive interiors, architecture, landscapes, establishing shots, and dynamic camera movement.
Optics Built for Wide Cinematic Frames
The optical system uses 15 elements in 11 groups, including 3 HR, 2 ED, and 2 ASP elements. A 9-blade rounded iris provides smooth aperture adjustment from T2.6 to T22. The lens is built for 8K-ready image capture and delivers a 100-degree horizontal viewing angle on full-frame cameras. Focus breathing is kept very low, helping framing remain more consistent during focus pulls.
Manual Cine Controls for Rigged Workflows
Standard 0.8 M gears on the focus and iris rings support common follow focus systems. The focus ring rotates 180 degrees, while the iris ring rotates 75 degrees for deliberate manual adjustments. Imperial distance markings are laser-engraved and filled with UV-reactive paint for improved readability in low light. An 86 mm front filter thread, 95 mm front diameter, and magnetic mounting system add flexibility for filter and matte box setups.
Weather Sealed and Ready for Production
Four rubber O-rings provide weather sealing against challenging outdoor conditions. The Canon EF version measures 89 x 95 mm and weighs 895 g without accessories, making it practical for handheld, stabilizer, and support rig use. A detachable 1/4 inch lens support foot can help reduce strain on the camera mount when the lens is paired with geared accessories.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
