The Irix Cine 15mm T2.6 MFT lens combines an ultra-wide 15 mm focal length with T2.6 transmission for expansive cinematic framing. This version uses the Micro Four Thirds mount and an imperial focus distance scale marked in feet. Its optical design provides 43.3 mm full-frame image coverage, while the MFT format delivers a 59.9-degree horizontal viewing angle.
Precise Manual Cine Controls
The focus ring rotates through 180 degrees for controlled manual adjustments, while the aperture ring provides 75 degrees of rotation from T2.6 to T22. Both rings use standard 0.8 M cine gearing. The lens uses 9 rounded iris blades and is engineered for low focus breathing and low distortion, helping maintain consistent framing during focus changes.
Filter and Rig Compatibility
An 86 mm front filter thread supports compatible screw-in filters, while the standardized 95 mm front diameter works with compatible cinema accessories. The integrated Irix Magnetic Mount System also supports compatible Irix Edge MMS filters and accessories. A detachable lens support foot can help reduce strain on the camera mount when the lens is used in a configured rig.
Built for Production Environments
The lens features 4 rubber sealing rings and laser-engraved markings filled with UV-reactive paint for easier visibility in low-light working conditions. Its MFT configuration measures 113 x 95 mm and weighs approximately 950 g without accessories, giving filmmakers a compact manual cine lens for wide establishing shots, interiors, architecture, and creative perspective work.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
