The Irix Cine 15mm T2.6 is a manual focus ultra-wide-angle lens for Sony E cameras, built around a 43.3 mm image circle for full-frame coverage. Its 15 mm focal length opens up expansive framing for interiors, architecture, landscapes, establishing shots, gimbal work, and dynamic camera movement. The imperial version places the focus distance scale in feet for crews that work with that measurement system.
Wide Coverage with Controlled Optics
The optical design uses 15 elements in 11 groups, including 3 HR, 2 ED, and 2 ASP elements. Irix pairs that construction with low distortion and very low focus breathing to keep wide compositions controlled during focus changes. The T2.6 to T22 range and 9 rounded iris blades provide smooth exposure adjustment and rounded out-of-focus rendering.
Cinema Ready Mechanical Design
Standard 0.8 M gearing is used on both the focus and aperture rings for compatibility with common cine control systems. The focus ring rotates 180 degrees, while the aperture ring rotates 75 degrees. A 95 mm front diameter and 86 mm filter thread support matte box and screw-in filter workflows, while the Magnetic Mount System supports compatible Irix magnetic accessories.
Built for Demanding Sets
Four rubber sealing points help protect the lens from dust and moisture. Laser-engraved markings use UV-reactive paint for easier reading in low light. The Sony E version measures 115 x 95 mm, giving creators a compact cine prime that can move between controlled studio work and location shooting.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
